1. Charge before repeated automatic shutdown

A low-battery warning should not become a challenge to take more puffs. Repeated shutdown under load can make an older lithium battery less reliable. Charge according to MOTI’s instructions and do not use full discharge as a monthly maintenance routine.

2. Use the specified charging input

Use the cable and adapter rating MOTI specifies for the exact model. A connector fit or high wattage label is not enough; compatibility depends on the allowed output and charging behavior. USFA notes that USB sources can vary and that proper charging devices are important for rechargeable e-cigarette batteries.

3. Keep the device away from temperature extremes
